The Yarn Over Toronto
I take breaks from knitting by starting other knitting projects.
It is definitely a problem.

// Hanks! Balls! Skeins!//

I have always knitted straight from the skeins and hanks, mainly because I’m lazy.

So now I’m knitting a lace scarf with extra fine yarn, right out of the hank. After knitting like that for a while, I thought I ought to just roll it into a ball for easy transportation and “storage”.

After 5 hours (which included about 3:30 hrs worth of trying to untangle the last few meters of yarn.. I WISH I WAS KIDDING), I have to say I am a convert! It is so nice to pull yarn from a neat ball and not have to move it around the hank.

Yay.

Blocking large projects.
